Dave began his career in the insurance industry after graduating from Virginia Tech in 1985. He has worked with agencies of various sizes, from the smaller family owned agency to the large national brokerage. Dave has held numerous positions within these companies, from Commercial Lines Producer to Executive Vice President and Branch Manager. His specialty is Commercial Sales and Service, and many of his clients have been working with him for over 20 years. Dave has served on the Board of the IIAV, and various advisory boards for the insurance carriers he has represented. He spends his spare time as a volunteer football coach for a local high school, and trying to lower his golf handicap.
Dave resides in Chesapeake, Virginia with his wife, Sandy and has a son, Justin and a daughter, Ashlin.
